The Trade and Investment Ministerial Meeting under India's G-20 Presidency concluded today in Jaipur. About 300 Representatives of G-20 member countries, invited countries and international organizations participated in the two-days meeting. Many important persons including trade and investment ministers of USA, UK, China, Canada, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, France have participated in the meeting.
The five major topics were discussed and consensus were made in this meeting. The world leaders of the trade and investment have agreed to take different steps in direction of trade for growth and prosperity, making international trade simple and easy, and promoting the role of small and micro enterprises in global trade. Apart from this, issues like promoting the use of technology in making business easier and bringing reforms and reforms in the World Trade Organization are also discussed in detail in this meeting.
