Another Rajya Sabha MP from Trinamool Congress, Koel Mallick has resigned from the Upper House of the Parliament. She met Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman CP Radhakrishnan and has submitted her resignation. She was elected to Rajya Sabha in April this year. Koel Mallick is TMC’s fourth Rajya Sabha MP to quit. Earlier, three Rajya Sabha MPs Sukhendu Sekhar Ray, Sushmita Dev and Prakash Chik Baraik had resigned. They later joined the BJP.
