Andhra Pradesh, three persons, including an eight-year-old boy, were killed and 13 others injured in a road accident at Chelluru in Vizianagaram district late last night. According to police, the victims were travelling in a van to Rayagada for a pilgrimage.

The van had stopped near Chelluru when a speeding lorry coming from Visakhapatnam rammed into it from behind. The injured were shifted to the Hospital in Vizianagaram. Police have registered a case and are investigating the cause of the accident.
