Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi on Friday said that there is no other community more like-minded to the Indian community than the Latin Americans. Addressing the Valedictory session of the 9th CII India-LAC Conclave in Delhi, Ms. Lekhi said these similarities must convert into trade relations. She stated that this conclave has done well in enabling that, with the presence of 15 high-level dignitaries from various countries and 270 strong foreign delegations from 26 Latin American Countries. She stressed on the need to address the gaps of distance, lack of interest and non-availability of finance. She highlighted that India is vying to become the third largest economy and the LAC region has youth, trained manpower and high natural resources. Ms. Lekhi pointed out that both the regions are supplementary and complementary to each other's strengths.
