Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy today jointly met Union Urban Development Minister Manohar Lal Khattar at his residence in New Delhi. The meeting focused on key infrastructure projects in Telangana, with special emphasis on the expansion of Hyderabad Metro Phase-2.

The leaders discussed arrangements for securing loans from the Indian Railway Finance Corporation, IRFC, to fund the metro expansion project. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who had earlier discussed the proposal with the Chief Minister and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, also participated in today’s deliberations to expedite clearances.

The discussions are seen as part of coordinated efforts between the state and central governments to accelerate major urban transport and infrastructure development projects in Telangana.
