Subdued rainfall over northeast and remaining parts of east India is likely to continue during next 4-5 days: IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that exceptionally heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places over Konkan and south Gujarat State today. In its forecast, it said, extremely heavy rainfall activity is likely to continue over Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, and Gujarat during the next two days and isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall thereafter.
