Union Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth witnessed the air show of the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team of the Indian Air Force in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, today. The team took over the skies yesterday for the first time, captivating spectators with a breathtaking display. The Defence Ministry informed that over 1 lakh people, including students, National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets and National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers turned up over two days to witness the display.
In a social media post, Mr Seth described the event as a remarkable blend of discipline, precision, teamwork, and professionalism, and a testament to the Indian Air Force’s glorious capabilities. The Minister also commended the courage and dedication of the team which performed in over 800 airshows, both in India and abroad, in its 30-year journey, so far.
