Student protest intensifies in Jharkhand with warning of bigger agitation

 
In Jharkhand, the students’ protest against rigging and corruption in competitive exams is continuously intensifying. The protesting students have warned the government that if their demands are not met soon, they will launch an even bigger agitation. 
 
As protesters planning to gherao the Chief Minister’s residence on 20th of this month, the Ranchi administration is on full alert. Multi-layered barricading has been done around the Chief Minister’s residence and security measures have been beefed up. Meanwhile, JLKM leader Devendra Nath Mahto, who is admitted in hospital, has also written a letter to the administration seeking permission to go to the protest site. A Public Interest Litigation has been filed in the Jharkhand High Court on the JPSC and JSSC exam matter.
