Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur chaired a review meeting of Secretaries of States and UTs in New Delhi on Friday. In a social media post, Mr Thakur said the collective goal is to shape the future of youth engagement and sports in the country. He said his Ministry and the States will play crucial roles in connecting with the youth and crafting a roadmap to onboard them at different levels, including the Yuva Platform.
 
During the meeting, they also deliberated on the development of sports infrastructure within each State, with geotagging under the PM Gati Shakti Mission via a dedicated mobile application. States were also requested to ensure effective execution of the Khelo India Scheme including ASMITA leagues.
