The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that, during the next two days, the Southwest Monsoon is likely to advance over Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, North Arabian Sea, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
The met department has also forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over Coastal Karnataka, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa and Madhya Maharashtra during the next 2 days. While in Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Saurashtra, Kutch, Uttarakhand and Vidarbha are expected to witness similar weather conditions during the next three days. Bihar, Interior Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Jharkhand, Kerala, Mahe, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and parts of the North Eastern region will have heavy rainfall conditions till Saturday.
Meanwhile, the National Capital woke up to refreshing showers this morning, as rainfall lashed several parts of the city, bringing much-needed relief from the sweltering heat to the residents of the city.
