Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Presidential candidate Namal Rajapaksa unveiled his election manifesto, titled ‘Namal Dekma,’ at an event in Colombo today.

The manifesto launch was attended by former Presidents Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Mahinda Rajapaksa, former ministers Chamal Rajapaksa, Basil Rajapaksa, Johnston Fernando, and Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena.

Touted as the key candidates in the race, incumbent President Ranil Wickremasinghe, SJB Candidate Sajith Premadasa and NPP candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayaka unveiled their manifestos last week listing out their policies and roadmap. With the death of one candidate, 38 candidates are now in the fray.  The election is scheduled to be held on 21st of September to elect the ninth executive president.
