Senior NCP leader Sharad Pawar has questioned the conduct of Loksabha elections in 5 to 7 stages instead of earlier 2 to 3 stages. He was speaking while campaigning for Mahavikas Aghadi candidate Amol Kolhe in Hadapsar area of Pune on Saturday. Mr. Pawar said that the elections are an opportunity to educate the masses and explain the current situation in the county but this vision has been lost during the last ten years. He opined that in order to sustain democracy in the country the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Nehru need to be made strong. Loksabha member Supriya Sule and Former state minister Vishwajit Kadam were prominently present on this occasion.
