Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) today celebrated its 15th Foundation Day in New Delhi.
Addressing the function, Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy Shripad Yesso Naik has expressed confidence that the Corporation will continue to play a central role towards the achievement of India’s clean energy vision. He said SECI’s 15-year journey stands as a reflection of India’s growing leadership in the global renewable energy transition.
Over the past 15 years, SECI has helped build over 41 Giga Watt of renewable energy capacity, signed power supply agreements for over 67 Giga Watt and brought in about 3.6 lakh crore rupees in investments. The company is now expanding its own clean energy projects and driving progress in battery storage and green hydrogen.
