Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia today inaugurated the Workshop on 5G Use Case Labs at India Mobile Congress. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Scindia called for collaborative efforts to develop intelligent networks that are designed and built in India and trusted globally. He also commended the officers of the department of telecommunications on completion of the specialized capacity development programme on Network and Mobile Security.

Discussions during the one-day workshop covered AI-native networks, intelligent connectivity, scalable 5G use cases, 6G spectrum roadmap, global standardization and industry-academia collaboration. The Ministry of Communications said that the workshop underscored Government’s commitment to strengthening indigenous innovation, promoting research and empowering young innovators in the telecommunications sector.
