In Saudi Arabia, an administrative building belonging to oil giant Aramco in Riyadh was targeted today in an attempted attack.
The Saudi Ministry of Energy said falling shrapnel caused minor damage to the building, with no casualties reported. Authorities responded to the incident and took necessary measures, it added.
The attack came after the Saudi-led coalition announced that it had intercepted two cruise missiles over Riyadh and southern regions, along with two ballistic missiles launched by Yemen’s Houthi group.
Earlier, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree had claimed responsibility for a series of missile and drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities.
