Exchange of strikes continued between Russian and Ukraine; civil casualities reported from both sides

Russian and Ukrainian forces exchanged overnight strikes, with attacks reported across multiple regions. Russian ballistic missiles struck Kyiv early this morning setting off fires and injuring three civilians, while attacks on other parts of Ukraine later killed at least two people. Meanwhile, in Russian-controlled eastern Ukraine, Kremlin-installed authorities claimed that a Ukrainian drone strike killed four civilians on the city of Horlivka. Russia’s Defence Ministry said its forces intercepted and destroyed 133 Ukrainian drones overnight over Russian territory, the Black Sea, and Crimea.
Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko said, Russian attacks rocked Kyiv in the early hours of today, with falling debris sparking a blaze in a tower block near the historic centre. He added that debris from the attacks also caused fires at other locations, damaging buildings, vehicles, and parking areas.
