Russia launched an overnight attack on Kyiv using ballistic missiles and drones, killing one person and injuring 16 others. According to the Ukrainian air force, Russia launched 41 missiles and 125 drones across Ukraine overnight. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said most of the missiles had targeted the capital. Rescuers pulled four people from a burning home, while one person was found dead in a three-storey building in Kyiv’s Sviatoshynskyi district. Russia’s Defence Ministry claimed the attack targeted sites linked to the Ukrainian military facilities. Separately, a strike on two oil tankers at the Caspian Pipeline Consortium terminal off Russia’s Black Sea halted oil loadings at the site.
