In Russia, three people were killed and 15 others injured in a bomb blast at a restaurant in central Moscow. Citing the Internal Affairs Ministry official, Russian state media reported that the explosion occurred at around 10:30 PM Indian time in a building on Kudrinskaya Square. Russia’s State News Agency, citing Russia’s Anti-Terrorism Committee, reported that an unidentified woman had tried to get into the restaurant but was stopped by a security guard.
It said, ‘Moments later, an explosion occurred, killing the woman, the security guard and a customer at the Balzi Rossi Italian restaurant.’ An official said investigators and forensic experts from the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Moscow are examining the blast site. The Investigative Committee said the exact number of casualties and the circumstances surrounding the incident are still being established.
