Indian wushu player Roshibina Devi Naorem signed off with a Silver medal in the Women’s 60kg Sanda event at the Asian Games after losing 0-2 to China’s Zhang Xiaoyu in the final at Nagoya in Japan. It is third Asian Games medal for Roshibina, who won a Silver at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games and bronze at the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Games.

 

Indian rowers Satnam Singh and Salman Khan won Bronze medal in the Men’s Double Sculls event this morning. The Indian pair stayed in second place until the 1,500m mark before slipping to third in the final 500m. China’s Yi Xudi and Yide Nie won the gold medal, while Uzbekistan’s Pavel Sorin and Mekhrojbek Mamatkulov claimed silver. Satnam had won a bronze at the Hangzhou Asian Games in the men’s quadruple sculls event.
