Renowned Marathi and Hindi actor Atul Parchure, best known for his comic roles, today passed away after battling cancer. He was 57 years old. Mr Parchure began his career as a child actor and went on to enjoy an extensive career in film, television, and theatre. He was known for his roles in Hindi films including ‘All The Best’, ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’, and ‘Tumsa Nahin Dekha’, as well as Marathi films such as ‘Navra Maza Navsacha’, ‘Amhi Satpute’, ‘Narbachi Wadi’, and ‘Alibaba Aani Chalishitale Chor’. He gained popularity through the daily soap ‘Jaago Mohan Pyaare’ and his work in the play ‘Tarun Turk Mhatare Arka’. Diagnosed with cancer two years ago, he had been undergoing treatment but sadly passed away today. He is survived by his wife, Sonia Parchure, and their daughter, Sakheel Parchure.
