Punjab Police has launched the Online Digital Portal to expedite verification processes for newly recruited defence personnel. The portal is linked with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) which verifies credentials of the new recruits.
Director General of Police, Gaurav Yadav, who launched the portal last evening, has been placed on Punjab Police’s ‘Saanjh Platform’. He said this will reduce the verification time from months to a few days.
MoD’s Director Human Resources, Aaron Pamei, who was part of the launch, appreciated the IT team of the police for developing the online digital verification module.
