The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will contest all 117 Assembly seats in upcoming Assembly elections in Punjab. BJP General Secretary (Organisation), B.L. Santosh, while addressing the first zonal meeting in Patiala today, said that Punjab is fully ready for change, and the BJP is fully prepared to make this change a reality.
Mr Santosh, who is on a two-day visit to the state starting from today is here to review the party’s activities and preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections through zonal meetings with BJP leaders and organisational office-bearers across different regions of Punjab.
The next Punjab Legislative Assembly election is due in February next year to elect all 117 members of the state’s legislature.
