During his visit to Raipur today, Prime Minister and senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party Narendra Modi also addressed a public meeting organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Shri Modi said that Chhattisgarh is a state full of youth energy. The next twenty-five years are very important for the development of Chhattisgarh. He alleged that at the time of the last assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, Congress had promised a liquor ban in the state, but in the last five years,  the party has not banned liquor but has definitely done a liquor scam worth thousands of crores. Shri Modi said that the Congress government of Chhattisgarh has become a model of corruption and misgovernance of the Congress party.

Shri Modi said that the Bharatiya Janata Party cares for the poor, farmers and tribal people and the BJP has made several efforts for the welfare of these sections. Shri Modi said that the Congress always considered the tribal society as a vote bank and deprived them of resources and facilities.
