President Droupadi Murmu, and Vice President C P Radhakrishnan have extended greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday today.

 

In a social media post, President Murmu lauded Mr Modi’s exemplary public service and contribution to nation-building over the past 25 years, spanning his tenure as Chief Minister and Prime Minister.

 

In her message, the President noted that the Prime Minister has set multiple benchmarks of good governance and given unprecedented momentum to inclusive development. She emphasised that the country is advancing towards modern progress with cultural pride, effectively balancing heritage with development. President Murmu wished the Prime Minister good health and a long life to continue his relentless service to the nation.

 

The Vice President said that under the visionary leadership of Mr Modi, India is shining as a bright spot in the world and is among the fastest-growing major economies. He highlighted that more than 25 crore Indians have come out of extreme poverty. Mr Radhakrishnan said a transformative digital revolution has empowered millions, while every sector, from space, technology and healthcare to infrastructure and manufacturing, has witnessed remarkable growth.

 

Meanwhile, Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has also extended greetings to the Prime Minister. The Minister said that Mr Modi’s commitment and dedication to public service is an inspiration to all. He prayed to God to bless the Prime Minister with excellent health, long life and unwavering energy to continue serving the nation.
