President Droupadi Murmu will be the chief guest at the state-level International Yoga Day programme in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, tomorrow. The event will begin at 7:30 am at Garrison Ground in Sadar. The President will arrive in Jabalpur this evening by a special Indian Air Force aircraft, where Governor Mangubhai Patel will receive her at the airport.

 

After the Yoga Day event, the President will reach Rani Durgavati University, where she will attend the university’s 36th convocation ceremony as the chief guest. Governor Patel will also attend the ceremony. Later, the President will visit Kuno National Park, where she will meet members of the Sahariya tribal community, cheetah trackers, and the park’s field team.

 

Ahead of the President’s visit, the district administration has banned the flying of drones, balloons, and kites within a 15-kilometre radius of Dumna Airport, Garrison Ground, the Circuit House and Rani Durgavati University.
