President Droupadi Murmu will visit Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh on the second day of her visit to the state today. She will attend key events, including the historic Muria Durbar as part of the famous Bastar Dussehra celebrations.
Akashvani Correspondent reports that the President will reach Jagdalpur airport this morning. Her first stop will be the historic Maa Danteshwari Temple, where she will offer prayers.
Later, President Murmu will attend the historic Muria Durbar. Dating back to Bastar’s royal era, this gathering serves as a bridge between traditional community leaders-such as Manjhis and Chalkis-and government officials to address local issues. Later, at the Lalbagh Maidan, the President will interact with local tribal leaders, priests, and residents before departing for Delhi.
