President Droupadi Murmu has thanked world leaders for congratulating India on the occasion of its 80th Independence Day.
Thanking her Maldivian counterpart, Dr Mohamed Muizzu, in a social media post, President Murmu wished that the India-Maldives partnership continues to grow for the benefit of the people of both nations.
The President also extended greetings to Nepal’s President Ramchandra Paudel for his wishes. She noted that India looks forward to further enhancing its special partnership with Nepal in the years ahead.
Further, President Murmu thanked her Slovakian counterpart Peter Pellegrini and said that India looks forward to further strengthening the India-Slovakia partnership for the benefit of the people.
The President also thanked Israeli President Isaac Herzog and wished that the bonds of friendship between the people of India and Israel continue to grow.
