President Droupadi Murmu today presided over a special book release ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan marking the completion of four years of her presidency. Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan released five commemorative books on the occasion. In her address, President Murmu described the high constitutional post as a profound responsibility rather than merely an honour, noting that her arrival at Rashtrapati Bhavan had exceeded her personal dreams. She said that over the past four years, she had encouraged the youth to remain rooted in moral values and work towards the progress of the nation and society. She urged women to become self-reliant and move forward on the path of progress with confidence. President Murmu said that When addressing tribal communities, she requested them to preserve their cultural heritage while also becoming part of the mainstream of development.
In his address, the Vice President said that President Murmu gave importance to the sentiments of the common people and emphasized on inclusive participation. The Vice President said that during the past 4 years, President Murmu has enriched the high office with grace, humility, wisdom and commitment to the letter and spirit of the constitution.
