President Droupadi Murmu today launched various projects in virtual mode on the completion of four years of the presidency at Rashtrapati Bhavan. In her address, she highlighted the nation’s development and cultural renaissance.
President Murmu said that over the past four years, India’s rich cultural heritage and sense of self-pride have been revitalised alongside inclusive growth. She said that the government’s primary objective has been to further strengthen the spirit of Indianness across the country. She said that significant initiatives have been undertaken in the last four years that have succeeded in eradicating the remnants of a colonial mindset. She added that the nation is now returning to its roots and taking pride in its cultural and democratic ideals.
The President also inaugurated Bachpan Bal Parisar for the children of the President’s Estate. The initiative includes a playzone for children named ‘Kilkari’, and ‘Samarth Anganwadi-cum-Palna’, providing a safe and nurturing environment for their growth and development. On the occasion, she interacted with the children during her visit to the Bal Parisar.
