President Droupadi Murmu will undertake a three-day visit to Sikkim beginning today. During her stay in Sikkim, she will attend various events and visit several places. The Sikkim government has made elaborate arrangements to welcome her.

In the evening, the President will visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology in Gangtok. Tomorrow, President Murmu will visit Nathu La Pass, where she will interact with soldiers deployed at Nathula.

On the same day, she will also grace the convocation ceremony of Sikkim University in Gangtok. On the final day of the visit, she will present the President’s Police Colour to the Sikkim Police at an event to be held at Paljor Stadium in Gangtok.

President Droupadi Murmu will visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology today on the first day of her visit to Sikkim. President Murmu will also visit the Orchidarium and flag off Pink buses for women in Gangtok.

Tomorrow she will visit the Nathula pass and also attend the convocation of the Sikkim University at Gangtok. Nearly 14 thousand degrees will be awarded in the ceremony.

On the last day of her visit, President Murmu will present the President of India’s Police Colour to the Sikkim Police at Paljor Stadium in Gangtok.
