President Droupadi Murmu to begin five-day visit to Madhya Pradesh from tomorrow

President Droupadi Murmu will begin a five-day visit to Madhya Pradesh tomorrow. She will arrive in Indore and travel to Betul to attend a programme organised by the Brahma Kumaris. Later, she will visit the Omkareshwar temple and participate in the evening aarti.
 
On June 19, the President will attend a programme marking International Sickle Cell Anaemia Day before leaving for Kalaikunda in West Bengal. She will return to Madhya Pradesh on June 20 and reach Jabalpur in the evening.
 
On June 21, President Murmu will participate in the International Yoga Day event in Jabalpur and attend the 36th Convocation of Rani Durgavati University as chief guest. She will then visit Kuno National Park and return to Delhi on June 22.
 
Ahead of her Betul visit, District Collector Dr Saurabh Sanjay Sonwane has imposed restrictions, including a ban on drones and regulated movement of heavy vehicles on June 18 for security arrangements.
