President Droupadi Murmu today lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, stating that he has significantly enhanced India’s prestige and influence on the global stage through his visionary governance and constructive engagement with world leaders.
Addressing a large public gathering at Rairangpur in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district organised to mark the completion of two years of the Mohan Charan Majhi Government in presence of Mr Modi, the President said India has consistently emerged as a voice of peace, dialogue and cooperation under Prime Minister Modi’s stewardship. She observed that at a time when several regions of the world are grappling with conflict and uncertainty, India has steadfastly advocated the resolution of disputes through diplomatic engagement and mutual understanding.
Recalling India’s humanitarian assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic, President Murmu said the country extended vital support to numerous nations through the supply of vaccines, oxygen and essential medical equipment, exemplifying its commitment to global solidarity and human welfare. The President congratulated Shri Modi on becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister of India and commended his unwavering devotion to national service. She expressed confidence that his leadership would continue to guide the nation towards greater prosperity and international eminence.
