President Droupadi Murmu will begin a three-day visit to Odisha tomorrow. During her visit, the President will participate in a series of educational, cultural and official engagements in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Brahmapur and Taptapani in Ganjam district. On the first day, the President is scheduled to inaugurate Jagadguru Kripalu University at Cuttack.
On Tuesday, she will travel to southern Odisha to offer prayers at the Maa Kandhuni Devi Temple near Taptapani before attending other official programmes. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the visit. Around 40 platoons of police have been deployed in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, while traffic regulation, surveillance and other security measures have been intensified to ensure the smooth conduct of the President’s engagements.
