President Draupadi Murmu has asked the legislators to exercise utmost restraint during the proceedings of the House. Delivering a special address in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly in Jaipur today the President said that there was a time when the proceedings of the House could reach the public through newspapers. But now in the era of modern technology, the public can watch every incident that happens in the house so maintaining the sanctity in the House is very important in the present context.
Governor Kalraj Mishra said that the members of the Legislative Assembly should pay special attention to their conduct. He stressed on the proper utilization of the time of the House. Raising the issue of not proroguing the session and running a long session, the Governor said that the prorogation should be on time and it is necessary to strengthen democracy. Assembly Speaker Dr. CP Joshi also addressed the program.
