President Droupadi Murmu has underlined that sportspersons of the country have put up excellent performance at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games by bringing 39 medals. In a social media post, President Murmu expressed happiness, as out of the 13 gold medals, the women of the country have brought 8 medals.

The President conveyed best wishes to all 39 medal winners and every member of the contingent who contributed during the Games. Further, President Murmu expressed confidence that the sportspersons of the country will bring greater glory to the nation in future international events.
