Education Minister Pralhad Joshi has described the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 as India’s most comprehensive and forward-looking education reform. He was speaking after inaugurating the new academic building of the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration in New Delhi today.

Mr. Joshi said India’s education system is progressing through NEP 2020 by combining modern innovation with the timeless wisdom of Indian knowledge traditions. He called for focused efforts to ensure the effective implementation of the policy.

On the occasion, Mr. Joshi also launched the IKS Panchatantra Pariyojana. He said the initiative is an important step towards integrating India’s rich civilisational heritage into education. It aims to nurture values, leadership, critical thinking and responsible citizenship among young learners.
