Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today launched the Pragati project aimed at empowering over twenty thousand agricultural entrepreneurs and 20 lakh farmers. Talking to the media in New Delhi, Mr Chouhan has stressed on the need to develop agriculture, prosperous villages, and prosperous farmers for achieving the Viksit Bharat vision. He said that the government is making every effort to achieve this vision, and the pace of work accelerates when other organisations join these efforts. The Agriculture Minister said that the government has decided to train 26,000 small agricultural entrepreneurs under the Pragati program. He said that these entrepreneurs work within a village and collaborate with 100-200 farmers to transform the village’s agriculture.
