Union Power Secretary Pankaj Agarwal today said the Power Ministry is coming up with the new National Electricity Policy. Mr Agarwal made these remarks while addressing the 2nd Indian Power Sector Conference in New Delhi on the theme of Building a Reliable, Flexible and Market-Ready Power System. He said that the ministry circulated a draft in January this year. Mr Agarwal added that the ministry has aggregated and incorporated the stakeholder comments and observations and moved it for the consideration of the Cabinet.
