Allegations and counter-allegations between the NDA and I.N.D.I.A has intensified ahead of the Jharkhand Assembly elections. BJP’s Jharkhand Assembly Election Co-in-Charge, Himanta Biswa Sarma, alleged that the Hemant Soren government is responsible for the infiltration of Bangladeshis and Rohingyas in the state, and this election is to save Jharkhand.
On the other hand, Chief Minister and Executive President of JMM Hemant Soren said the BJP is poaching his party leaders and misguiding people in the name of development.
Tomorrow is the last day for nominations for the first phase of Jharkhand Assembly Elections. 225 candidates have so far filled their nominations for the first phase of the polling.
Meanwhile, during the search operation, illegal materials and cash worth over 17 crore 51 lakh rupees have been seized from different parts of the state since the announcement of assembly elections. 14 FIRs have been lodged for violation of the model code of conduct.
Assembly elections in Jharkhand are being held in two phases. The first phase of polling will take place on November 13th, while the second phase is on November 20th. The counting of votes will be taken up on 23rd November.
