PMFME Conclave to Be Held in New Delhi from Aug 24

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries will organise Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises, PMFME Conclave in New Delhi from Monday. The two-day conclave will bring together entrepreneurs, experts and stakeholders to foster innovation, knowledge and growth in the food processing sector. 
 
 
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi today, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Devesh Deval informed that more than 400 participants from all States and Union Territories will take part in the event.
 
 
He said that Food Processing Industries Minister Chirag Paswan will inaugurate the event. Mr Deval said that more than two lakh individual micro food processing enterprises have benefited from the Credit Linked Subsidy component of the PMFME Scheme, with women entrepreneurs accounting for over 44 per cent of the beneficiaries. He highlighted that around 11 to 12 lakhs jobs have been created through this scheme.
