Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed gratitude over the greetings of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to him over becoming India’s longest-serving Prime Minister. In a social media post, Mr Modi thanked President Vučić for his heartfelt greetings. He also fondly recalled the Serbian President’s recent visit to India and the productive discussions held during the visit. Mr Modi said India deeply values its friendship with Serbia and expressed confidence that the partnership between the two countries would continue to grow stronger in the years ahead.
Earlier, in a social media post, President Aleksandar Vučić extended his greetings to Prime Minister Modi on becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister in India’s history. The Serbian President said the milestone reflects the trust reposed by the people in Mr Modi’s leadership and public service. He also described Mr Modi as a respected global leader and expressed confidence that India would continue to achieve new milestones under his leadership.
