Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the tragic mishap in Thane district. In a tweet, Mr Modi said his thoughts and prayers are with those who are injured. The Prime Minister also announced an ex-gratia of 2 lakh rupees to the next of kin of each deceased and 50,000 for those who are injured in the incident.
