Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the redeveloped Jalandhar Cantonment Railway Station and other developmental projects in Punjab this month. He said around 75 completed Amrit Bharat Stations will be virtually inaugurated by the Prime Minister from Jalandhar Cantt station.

Speaking to the media after reviewing the preparations at the station today, he said that this 110-year-old station has been transformed into a world class facility under Amrit Bharat Stations scheme at a cost of 125 crore rupees.
