Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav Global Sammelan tomorrow in New Delhi. Mr Modi will also address the gathering on the occasion.
The three-day event marks the culmination of the year-long celebrations commemorating 75 years of the Chinmaya Mission, a global spiritual movement founded by Swami Chinmayananda in 1951. The Prime Minister’s Office said that the event will bring together over nine thousand participants from India and abroad.
The year-long celebrations began last year with the Prime Minister releasing a Tamil versification of the Bhagavad Gita, produced by Chinmaya Mission in Tamil Nadu.
