Prime Minister Narendra Modi has thanked world leaders who extended their greetings on the occasion of Independence Day of India, including French President Emmanuel Macron and President of Maldives, Dr Mohamed Muizzu. In reply to Nepal Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s greetings, Prime Minister Modi said, they are committed to working together to further strengthen the multifaceted and age-old civilizational ties between India and Nepal for the mutual prosperity and well-being of the people of both nations.
In a social media post thanking his Bhutan counterpart Tshering Tobgay for his wishes, Prime Minister Modi said, India deeply cherishes the special and enduring partnership with Bhutan, which continues to go from strength to strength.
Replying to Slovak Republic’s President, Peter Pellegrini, Mr Modi said, he is looking forward to further strengthening the Comprehensive Partnership between India and Slovakia.
