Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked the Indian diaspora in Nice, France, for the warm welcome accorded to him. In a social media post, Mr Modi described the gesture as memorable.

He emphasized that despite being several kilometres away from home, the bond of the Indian diaspora with India remains as strong as ever.
