Prime Minister Narendra Modi today shared an article written by Agricultural Economist Ashok Gulati on the transformation of Indian agriculture.

The article highlights Prime Minister Modi’s 25-year journey, from Gujarat’s agrarian transformation to a broader transformation of Indian agriculture, shows how better irrigation, reliable power, rural roads, technology and market access helped farmers increase productivity and income.

The article further underlines that at the national level, this approach has expanded to direct farmer support, diversification and better rural infrastructure.
