Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that while the threat of terrorism continues to evolve, India’s resolve and opposition to terrorism in all its forms and manifestations remain unwavering. On the 25th anniversary of the horrific 9/11 terror attacks in US, Mr. Modi, in a social media post, said terrorism has claimed countless lives around the world. He said that as a victim of cross-border terrorism, India has been at the forefront of the fight against terrorism for several decades.

The Prime Minister paid tribute to the victims of the attacks and expressed solidarity with their families, whose lives were forever changed by the tragedy. Mr. Modi said India stands in solidarity with all efforts to combat the scourge of terrorism. He also shared glimpses of his visit to the 9/11 Memorial and Museum at New York City in United States 2014.
