Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a five-page letter to West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, praising the new BJP government’s initiatives in the state. The Prime Minister commended the government’s decision to observe West Bengal Day and highlighted the contributions of Syama Prasad Mukherjee.
Mr. Modi noted that the people of West Bengal delivered an unforgettable electoral verdict earlier this year. He lauded the state government’s remarkable speed and compassion in its work over the past month, saying he was deeply pleased with its progress.
Among the initiatives mentioned were the launch of Ayushman Bharat in Bengal, free travel for women on government buses, and the Annapurna Yojana. The Prime Minister congratulated Suvendu Adhikari and his team for these efforts.
Mr Modi expressed hope that West Bengal will continue to inspire the nation with its wisdom, creativity, and indomitable spirit and that its people will move forward with renewed confidence to contribute even more to India’s progress and prosperity.
