Prime Minister Narendra Modi today virtually inaugurated 75 redeveloped Amrit Bharat railway stations across the country, including Baramati and Nandura in Maharashtra, and Mangalagiri, Rayanapadu and Cumbum railway stations in Andhra Pradesh under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The Amrit Bharat Station Scheme provides for the long-term redevelopment of railway stations across the country with a focus on better passenger experience, improved accessibility, multimodal connectivity and facilities that reflect local heritage and culture.
