Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed sorrow over the passing of Bhavnaben Patel, wife of Prabhulbhai Patel, Administrator of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. In a social media post, the Prime Minister said that he shared a close acquaintance and cordial relationship with the family for many years. Mr Modi also extended condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the Almighty grants peace to the departed soul.
